Kiss The Band

Kiss is a rock band that emerged onto the music scene in the 1970s. It immediately attracted everyone’s attention and became a big hit. The band’s member’s appearances and performance styles were quite different from those of their competitors. The band consisted of four members namely Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.

Currently, the members include Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer as well. The band gained much popularity because of their attire and appearance in live performances. They always appeared with black and white face paint. Based on their style of makeup, they had different names for each other which included The Starchild, The Demon, The Spaceman, The Catman, The Fox and The Ankh Warrior.

Kiss band’s performance included acts such as fire breathing and spitting blood during singing. Sometimes smoke would come out of their guitars during performances. The band members wore flamboyant clothes. The clothes were always black with silver or golden trims, spikes or studs. Their shirts would sometimes have silver armor chests and shoulder pads. Their shoes were also black with silver studded designs and patterns. These costumes were very popular and are still popular among kids and adults today. Many people like to dress as them on costume parties and Halloween.
